Porque estoy in Quito?

Why Quito? Why now? Why not? In order to finish my final practicum for my degree in Social Work, I am in Quito for a semester, working as an intern with Catholic Relief Services on issues of human trafficking and indigenous people. In 15 weeks, I will complete 700 hours of work as assistant with CRS, learning mountains of Spanish, living next to the Equator, seeking to understand the challenges of indigenous peoples in and around the city of Quito.
